Is Boxbook a 3PL or a shipping-label app?
Neither. Boxbook is the ops layer that sits between Shopify and your label provider (ShipStation, Shippo, Easyship). We split orders into the right fulfillments and decrement your packing supplies — your warehouse and label tooling stay yours.
How does billing work?
Boxbook subscriptions are billed through Shopify, on the same invoice as your other Shopify charges. There's nothing to set up separately — activate the plan from inside the app and Shopify handles the rest.
Is there a per-order fee?
No. Boxbook Starter is a flat $10.00/month with no per-order charges and no usage caps to worry about — pack as many orders as you like. We may introduce higher-volume plans with per-order pricing later, but anyone who signs up for Boxbook Starter today keeps this flat deal.
Is there really a free trial?
Yes. The first 7 days of your paid subscription are free. Cancel before the trial ends and you're never charged.
What stays free forever?
You can use Boxbook with up to 1 material, 1 rule, 1 split rule, and 1 tag rule on the free plan, with unlimited locations. Editing, deleting, and rule automation all keep working, and you can preview the manual splitting canvas in read-only mode — adding additional materials, rules, split rules, or tag rules and saving manual splits requires the paid plan.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from the Billing page inside Boxbook (Apps → Boxbook → Billing in your Shopify admin). Cancellation takes effect right away and Shopify credits you a prorated refund for the unused portion of the current 30-day cycle.
